Targeted Neuropsychological Testing

I help people get the treatment direction they need after a brain injury through concussion management and neuropsychological testing. In addition to my services after a concussion or other acquired brain injury.

Whether you’ve recently had a concussion, or you’ve had long standing concerns from a concussion (mTBI), long-haul COVID, or other ABI, evaluation and treatment are key.

Perhaps you are confused about what direction to go after your brain injury. You need a clear plan on what providers or therapies to consider after this difficult event. You are struggling to find relief from your symptoms and want to understand how your brain injury has effected your functioning.

My goal is to meet and exceed your expectations to get you on a clear path to health. I provide assessment of a concussion. I see primarily individuals with a concussion but I’ve seen many different issues related to ABI over the years, such as a concussion, stroke, aneurysm, brain bleed, toxic mold, etc. After this assessment, you will have clear referrals and treatment recommendations for your care. It is my hope you will have a sense of relief that you have a plan to manage your symptoms. After our meeting I plan to follow up with you for managing your concussion if needed or ensuring other therapies or services you need are in place.

If you need more in-depth neuropsychological testing, I can provide testing for TBI, ADHD, ABI, and more. A two or four hour testing session will be scheduled after your initial assessment (two and four hour testing sessions are available in Southern Maine only).

Reasons to seek Neuropsychological Testing

What to expect during your evaluation

After a concussion (TBI/ABI), cognitive, physical, and mental health evaluation aid in recommending services that are needed post brain injury.  I aim to see you as a whole person and provide care that incorporates knowledge I’ve gained from a postdoctoral residency in neuropsychology, concussion management training, and a concussion mentorship. I frequently consult with other professionals as often, different specialty providers are needed to provide care.

The purpose of an evaluation often is to find and make referrals, I find that a shorter length is appropriate for most clients to meet and exceed this goal. Especially early stages of concussion or TBI a brief assessment is likely what you need to be on the road to recovery. My goal is to provide you with this assessment and make recommendations quickly. I know that getting to the right providers and getting better is what you need most in your recovery.
